INWARD GOODS TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE & ENTRY

The purchase of ticket(s) to the Inward Goods Festival (“the festival”) constitutes a contractual agreement between Inward Goods (“The Promoter”) and the ticket purchaser (“you”). By purchasing a ticket (or having a ticket purchased for you) you agree to the following terms and conditions. If these need to be updated, The Promoter will notify you in writing with the changes.

Ticket Refunds:

1. Treat tickets like cash: your lost, stolen or destroyed tickets will not be replaced or refunded. Change of mind refunds for tickets will not be given on any basis. This term does not erode any rights granted to you by Australian Consumer Law.

2. After the festival has taken place, your unclaimed tickets are non-refundable.

3. No refunds will be given to you if you decide to leave early or are evicted from the festival.

Ticket Limitations:

4. The Promoter is not responsible for your purchase, attempted use of or attempted refund for fraudulent tickets.

5. Tickets are transferable for the original cost price only. Resale at inflated value will result in cancellation of resold tickets.

Event Postponement / Relocation / Cancellation:

6. The Promoter may postpone, relocate or cancel the festival at any point in time if an unforeseen event makes the event dangerous or impossible to deliver. Examples include (but are not strictly limited to): dangerous weather, damage to the festival site, drought, rain, fire, flood and council or police rulings.

7. Any losses caused due to a cancelled, postponed or relocated festival are not the liability of The Promoter.

8. If the event is postponed, relocated or cancelled The Promoter may exercise a discretionary refund amount awarded on a ‘per ticket purchased’ basis. This amount would be non-negotiable, final, and would not add any rights of appeal to you.

Artist Changes:

9. The Promoter has the right to vary, withdraw or replace any artists, related advertisements or artist scheduling at any point without any required notice to you. Ticket refunds will not be given for the variation, withdrawing or replacement of artist(s).

Entry Requirements: Age

10.  You must be at least 18 years old to attend the festival. Valid photo identification (ie: driver's licence or passport) may be requested by event staff. You may be evicted if you are unable to provide valid and reliable photo identification.

Festival Wristband:

11. Once at the festival site, you must present a paper ticket, QR Code or ticket reference number. If valid, this will be exchanged for a wristband which allows you continual access to the festival site and its facilities for the duration of the festival.

12. Your wristband must be worn at all times. Failure to show your wristband may result in you being evicted at the ultimate discretion of The Promoter.

13. Your wristband being removed by The Promoter (in accordance with these terms and conditions) is, for all legal purposes, your permanent eviction from the festival.

Search of Vehicle and Possessions:

14.  You consent to the lawful search of your vehicle and/or belongings on entry and at any time during the festival. Failure to continually comply with this condition will result in your refused entry or your wristband removed.

No Prohibited Items:

15.  Potentially hazardous items are not permitted into the festival under any circumstances for any reason. These items include, but are not limited to: Weapons, flammable cooking equipment, glass, petrol generators, illegal substances and any other items The Promoter bans on their website.

16.  Carrying prohibited item(s) will result in your refused entry or your wristband being removed.  Relevant cases will be referred to authorities.

Promotional Material Produced:

17. Entry to the festival is an acceptance that you may be photographed or filmed at the festival grounds for future use by The Promoter. The Promoter will not be liable for any compensation or royalty payment in any form for use of this material. This material will not be sold to third parties by The Promoter.

Inwardly Good Behaviour:

18.  You agree to act in accordance with any lawful direction from The Promoter, event staff and/or security during the festival.

19. If you engage in aggressive, anti-social, illegal or generally unacceptable behaviour, you will have your wristband removed, you will be swiftly ejected from the festival site and you will not be allowed re-entry under any circumstances.

Moving & Parking:

20. You must stay within the festival site boundaries at all times. The festival site borders private land, so those people outside the festival boundaries are trespassers and risk prosecution.

21. You must comply with initial and updated parking instructions given by The Promoter or festival staff on the festival site. Vehicles that do not comply with these directions (ie: left on public roads, nature strips or private driveways) risk being towed at the owner’s expense.

22. When arriving and departing the festival site you must not cause disorder, offense or any disturbance.

Pets:

23.  Pets and other personal animals are not allowed on the festival site. Service animals may be accepted by The Promoter on a per-case basis. Please contact us if you think this applies to you.

Risks of Attendance:

24.  The Promoter is not responsible for any stolen, lost or damaged property before, during or after the festival.

25. You agree to participate in the festival at your own risk. Unless through legally actionable negligence by The Promoter, no injury or death will be the fault of The Promoter. Purchasing a ticket expressly limits your making of any claim against The Promoter, the festival site owner, festival staff or individual artists.

25. If you require medical treatment and/or emergency evacuation due to injury or illness during the festival on the festival site, The Promoter will arrange circumstances that prioritise your safety.  You will need to pay for treatments beyond the first aid provided by The Promoter at the festival site.
